Education

We provide scholarships and foundational educational materials to deserving students across Liberia. We work systematically to build enriching learning environments, train local educators, and equip youth with skills needed to excel this evolving digital World.

We drive systemic public health awareness regarding nutrition, hygiene, and preventive healthcare. We develop structural crisis mitigation programs for outbreaks and disasters while explicitly pioneering mental health resource networks.

A true Leader, Changemaker and Visionary

Mr. Harris T. Gensee is a distinguished Liberian humanitarian and community development advocate from Nimba County, Liberia. He is widely recognized for his unwavering commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable populations and advancing sustainable development in rural communities across Liberia.

Driven by passion for social impact and inclusive growth, Mr. Gensee founded the Foundation for Rural Empowerment (FORE), a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming lives through strategic interventions in education, healthcare, and agriculture. Because of this vision, FORE has become a beacon of hope for underserved communities, thereby empowering individuals, groups and families with opportunities for self-reliance and long-term prosperity.

As Founder and Executive Director, Mr. Gensee provides visionary leadership and oversees programs designed to address some of the most pressing challenges facing rural Liberia.

His work focuses on expanding access to quality education, promoting community health initiatives, strengthening agricultural productivity, and fostering sustainable livelihoods.

Mr. Gensee believes that meaningful development is achieved through collaboration, innovation, and community participation. Guided by the core values of integrity, equity, collaboration, and innovation, he has championed initiatives that create lasting change and improve the well-being of countless individuals.

Where exactly is FORE based, and what regions do you serve?

Our primary headquarters is located in Ganta City, Nimba County, Republic of Liberia. However, our constitutional framework allows us to establish sub-offices in any county across Liberia to implement impactful projects where they are needed most.

How does FORE maintain financial transparency and operational integrity?

Integrity is one of our defining core values. Every major budget allocation and donor expenditure is strictly reviewed and approved by an independent 7-member Board of Directors

Who is eligible to become a member or partner of the foundation?

Membership is gladly open to dedicated educators, international donors, community leaders, and global citizens who wholly support our mission and maintain a clean record. Partners can assist through strategic alliances, institutional grants, or resource-sharing

How does your agricultural program differ from standard relief efforts?
